About the position

Helios Service Partners is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our rapidly growing vendor management team. This entry-level role focuses on conducting high-volume cold calls to identify and qualify potential HVAC contractor prospects, ultimately aiming to expand our National vendor base and service our commercial clientele. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth into sales or management roles within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound cold calls, emails, and social media sourcing to potential vendors.
  • Identify and qualify vendor prospects, gathering essential information and assessing their needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and activities in a shared drive.
  • Collaborate with the vendor management team to develop effective strategies for lead generation and qualification.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of services and processes to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential vendors.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team targets.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and connect with prospects.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a desire to succeed and grow within the organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a sales or cold calling role is preferred, but not mandatory.
