About the position

The Sales Representative at Prestone® is responsible for driving territory volume by selling a range of product lines to designated customers. This role emphasizes building customer awareness and delivering high-quality service to establish Prestone as the supplier of choice. The representative will engage with customers through various communication methods and is expected to travel for in-person meetings and trade shows, contributing to the overall growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Grow territory volume by selling all product lines to designated customers.
  • Build customer awareness of all product lines to increase customer volume share.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to establish Recochem as the supplier of choice.
  • Sell new product distribution by understanding customer product mix and trends.
  • Engage customers via in-person meetings, phone, and email to support business growth.
  • Travel to meet customers and attend trade shows, expected to be 25%.
  • Support Sales Development Directors with business administrative needs.
  • Effectively communicate sales fundamentals updates to customers in a timely manner.
  • Develop a business plan for designated customers to deliver sales strategies.
  • Create a customer coverage plan to build business with high potential growth customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to understand sales processes and procedures.
  • Leverage available selling tools to grow business and support development of new tools.
  • Participate in sales team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience selling manufactured goods to retailers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and work process discipline.
  • Commitment to high quality with accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Open to receiving and applying feedback for personal development.
  • Initiative to solve problems and create solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with sales and cross-functional team members.
  • Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
