About the position

Granite State Parcel (GSParcel) is a Construction Specialties Sales and Installation company that has been steadily growing. With our knowledge and experience, we are fully equipped to get our clients just what they need, when they need it! GSParcel has years of experience bidding Divisions 10, 11, and 12 which include but is not limited to toilet partitions, restroom accessories, wall protection, lockers, visual displays, fire protection, appliances, projection screens, window shades and blinds and Luxer One Packages. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in building and increasing GSParcel's market share and sales of the Luxer One package delivery system in the Office/Residential, Library & Academic verticals in the New England territory. Your responsibilities will include connecting with potential clients through various channels such as social media, trade shows, conferences, and other social events to create and nurture relationships. You will be the first point of contact for the brand, educating clients on the wide range of products and services we offer. You will also be responsible for qualifying leads and setting up sales calls, sending samples, and arranging meetings with potential clients. Understanding when a client is the right fit for our offerings and when to move on is essential. Collaboration with other sales team members will be key to your success, as will generating and qualifying outbound leads through calls, emails, and site visits. This position requires a proactive approach to business development and a strong ability to meet and exceed sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build and increase GSParcel's market share/sales of the Luxer One package delivery system in the Office/Residential, Library & Academic verticals in the New England territory.
  • Connect with potential clients through social media, trade shows, conferences, and other social events and create a relationship with these clients.
  • Create a first impression for the brand you represent.
  • Educate the clients on all the items that we can offer their company.
  • With qualified clients, take them to the next level, by setting up sales calls, sending samples, and meetings.
  • Have the understanding when a potential client is the right fit and when it is time to move on.
  • Communicate with other sales team members.
  • Generate and qualify outbound leads through calls, emails, site visits, etc.

Requirements

  • At least a BA or BS, preferably in a field related to architecture, construction management or real estate or relevant to market verticals (ie. libraries, academic institutions, etc.).
  • At least 1-2 years in a business development position with documented achievement of sales goals.
  • Enthusiasm, resourcefulness, endurance and initiative.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the targeted verticals (Libraries, Academics, Office/Residential) and the client base.
  • Proven ability to develop business for a specialty construction firm.
  • Track record for increasing revenue and meeting/exceeding revenue targets in previous positions.
  • Evidence of strong network among clients that the company values.
  • Likeable. Polished and intellectually strong presence that can command the respect of a broad client base, as well as peers.
  • Enterprise Selling Skills.
  • Candidate will be strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge and skillset.
  • Good management presence, communication skills, and credibility.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets.
  • Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities.
  • CRM usage experience preferred.
