About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Xledger is a full-time position focused on outbound sales efforts to connect with potential clients. The SDR will qualify new sales prospects, execute outreach activities, and set meetings for Account Executives, playing a crucial role in the company's growth and offering a clear career path with long-term earning potential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify, engage, and qualify new leads through outbound efforts including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Sales Process Support: Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives and provide detailed notes to ensure a smooth transition through the sales cycle.
  • CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date records of interactions and progress with prospects in HubSpot and Apollo, ensuring all activities and outcomes are recorded accurately.
  • Continuous Improvement: Act as a liaison between the marketing and sales departments, identifying roadblocks and opportunities for refinement in outreach processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; focus on business, marketing, or technology is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS outbound lead generation.
  • Familiarity with financial applications and understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong listening skills.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to overcome objections.
  • Ability to effectively generate and manage leads using HubSpot CRM and sales engagement tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Inquisitive and outgoing personality dedicated to prospecting.
