About the position

Loop1, a global IT Operations Management (ITOM) company specializing in SolarWinds® monitoring and observability, is actively searching for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for our US Office. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in expanding Loop1's customer base by generating leads and setting meetings for our territory-based Account Executives and Sales Engineering team. This position requires the SDR to research clients within Loop1's CRM, identify and contact accounts that have potential for additional business, and replace outdated contacts using ZoomInfo. Establishing new relationships with prospects via LinkedIn Sales Navigator is also a key responsibility. The SDR will develop new business through various channels including telephone, email, and LinkedIn, educating potential clients about our offerings, gathering information about prospects, qualifying leads, and transferring them to the designated Account Executive. Following up on leads and conducting research to identify potential prospects is essential. The SDR will conduct needs analyses with clients to identify pain points and determine how Loop1 can address those needs. Building and cultivating prospective relationships through effective communication is vital to move opportunities through the sales funnel. Additionally, the SDR will work closely with the Sales Director to develop and grow the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent achievement of quarterly revenue goals. Managing data for new and prospective clients in NetSuite, preparing and analyzing sales pipeline reports and dashboards, and ensuring all communications are logged and accurate are also part of the role. This is a hybrid position that requires limited on-site work, with candidates expected to travel to the Cedar Park office at least once per week.

Responsibilities

  • Research clients within Loop1's CRM and identify/contact accounts with potential for additional business.
  • Replace outdated contacts using ZoomInfo and establish new relationships with prospects via LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Develop new business via telephone, email, or LinkedIn by educating potential clients on our offerings.
  • Gather information about the prospect, qualify the lead, and transfer the lead to the designated Account Executive.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
  • Conduct a needs analysis with clients and identify pain points to determine how Loop1 will address those needs.
  • Identify key buying influencers within prospects to determine budget and timeline.
  • Build and cultivate prospective relationships by initiating and conducting follow-up communications.
  • Work with the Sales Director to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals.
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in NetSuite, ensuring all communications are logged and accurate.
  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of telemarketing and/or inside software sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
  • A proven track record of strong client relationships.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM software.
