About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at RDG Filings is designed for motivated individuals looking to build a career in technology sales. The SDR will focus on generating leads and setting meetings through various outreach methods, contributing to the company's goal of providing an effective cloud-based SEC reporting tool for publicly traded companies.

Responsibilities

• Use research tools like LinkedIn and Zoom Info to build lists of entities and contacts that align with our Ideal Target Profile.
• Load accounts and contacts into Saleforce.com.
• Market to these contacts via email, phone, Teams, and LinkedIn.
• Set 120 meetings per year, by making a minimum of 30 calls/60 emails per day.
• Follow up on warm leads and convert to qualified leads by identifying decision maker, budget, and timeline.
• Deliver consistent, qualified pipeline that converts to revenue.
• Communicate new product and services opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate RDG management.
• Assist Team in ad hoc assignments (contract writing, pricing research, presentation preparation) to qualify for monthly Team Bonus.

Requirements

• 2 or 4 year degree in business, finance, marketing or related field or a mixture of relevant, equivalent work experience is required.
• 1-3 years in sales or other customer-oriented background (support, customer service).
• Excellent telephone personality and skills.
• Sound judgment and decision-making.
• Ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Possess excellent written and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively.
• Time management skills, ability to monitor/assess performance to make improvements or take corrective action.
• Able to multi-task and appropriately address shifting priorities.
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Ability to operate PC, and other related office equipment essential to the position with average speed and accuracy.
