About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Panduit plays a crucial role in driving growth and fostering relationships within the sales process. This position is primarily responsible for managing assigned CRM leads and engaging in Account-based Marketing (ABM) activities. The SDR will actively prospect to convert leads into opportunities for handoff to Account Executives and Internal Account Managers. This involves cold calling, researching projects, and sourcing potential clients while staying informed about industry-related news to effectively engage with stakeholders. In addition to lead conversion, the SDR is tasked with supporting Account Executives and Internal Account Managers through various ABM activities. This includes introducing Panduit products to potential clients, identifying new projects, and converting business from competitors to increase overall business volume. Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to provide support and identify new business opportunities. The SDR must ensure that all data is accurately updated within the CRM system in a timely manner, which is critical for effective sales tracking and reporting. Collaboration is key in this role, as the SDR will work closely with Marketing and Business Units to ensure a high level of engagement, fostering a strong collaborative relationship between teams. Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned CRM leads and engage in Account-based Marketing (ABM) activities.
  • Prospect to convert leads into opportunities for handoff to Account Executives and Internal Account Managers.
  • Conduct cold calling and research projects to identify potential clients.
  • Stay up to date on industry-related news to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Support Account Executives and Internal Account Managers through ABM activities.
  • Drive growth by introducing Panduit products and identifying new projects.
  • Convert business from competitors and increase overall business volume.
  • Maintain good relationships with stakeholders and provide support to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure data is updated accurately and in a timely manner within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Units to ensure high engagement levels.

Requirements

  • Some college preferred, but not required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Relevant equivalent experience or college credits accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Preferred background in Sales, Distribution, or Technology.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% yearly.
