About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Ivalua plays a crucial role in the marketing and sales environment by partnering with the Sales team to connect with decision-makers in targeted accounts. The SDR is responsible for generating, nurturing, and qualifying prospective customers while becoming a subject-matter expert on Ivalua's solutions and competitive positioning. This position is essential for driving growth and supporting the sales organization through effective communication and strategic outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified prospect meetings for Ivalua Account Executives
  • Actively identify bids and RFPs that are a fit for Ivalua's software solutions
  • Qualify inbound prospect meetings for Account Executives
  • Proactively nurture early-stage opportunities by providing valuable content

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a high-tech B2B marketing, inside sales, or sales development environment
  • Specialized business development experience in the Enterprise market
  • Experience identifying and contacting prospective customers using a multi-approach prospecting methodology
  • Demonstrable track record of consistent overachievement of quotas and sales goals
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to communicate a value proposition in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an environment where growth and change is the only constant
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Understands a sense of urgency in supporting a sales organization
