The Sales Development Representative - Technology & Digital Solutions at Regal Rexnord is a pivotal role focused on identifying and navigating potential customer leads, generating new business opportunities, and enhancing relationships to increase market share for Regal Rexnord and its Perceptiv brand. This position requires close collaboration with the Perceptiv sales team to execute commercial sales strategies, prioritize customer accounts, and influence decision-makers effectively. The representative will be responsible for direct lead generation targeting strategic customers, which includes co-selling with various sales teams, coordinating strategies for tradeshows, webinars, and training sessions, and conducting Voice of Customer (VOC) analysis to inform sales tactics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial business development, demonstrating a proven track record of connecting with clients and navigating the Regal Rexnord system. In addition to lead generation, the representative will manage and update client interactions through Salesforce, collaborate with the sales team to enhance sales tactics, and create and execute strategies for tradeshows. Staying informed about industry developments and effectively communicating Regal Rexnord's value propositions to customers will be essential for success in this role. The representative will also be responsible for continuous improvement of the ideal customer profile and account management, ensuring outstanding customer experiences and internal collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically identify and generate new business opportunities for Perceptiv
  • Establish relationships with key industry contacts to enhance Perceptiv's relationship and win more share of wallet
  • Generate leads through intracompany relationships and strategic accounts
  • Generate leads through proactive high volume outreach via email, phone calls, LinkedIn messages, etc.
  • Schedule appointments for Perceptiv Business Development Managers
  • Own, develop and execute strategy for converting end users with Connectable Equipment
  • Manage and update lead and client interactions through Salesforce
  • Collaborate with sales team to enhance sales tactics
  • Create and execute tradeshow customer strategy - outreach and planning
  • Stay up to date with VOC and consistently report to leadership for industry developments
  • Understand and articulate Regal Rexnord value statements to all customers
  • Continuous improvement and ownership of our ideal customer profile
  • Account management and decision tree mapping
  • Possess strong organization and presentation skills to ensure outstanding customer and internal experiences
  • Support evaluation of new markets, offerings, and industries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years' professional experience preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with professional lead generation and business development required
  • Experience developing cold and warm leads required
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing and reliability marketing is strongly preferred
  • Possess strong business and marketing acumen
  • Strong knowledge of lead generation tactics
  • Team player who can lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and drive for success
  • Record of accomplishment developing high level relationships within a large, complex organization
  • Strong background in soliciting customer feedback and implementing changes
