About the position

OrderMyGear (OMG) is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. As the first point of contact for leads and prospects, the SDR plays a crucial role in the success of our sales team and the company as a whole. This position is not just about making calls; it’s about building relationships and creating opportunities. You will work closely with various teams across the organization, including business and product leaders, to help OMG continue its rapid growth in the team gear and promotional product space. In this role, you will be responsible for educating and qualifying prospects, developing sales-ready leads, and creating a penetration strategy for organizations. You will handle detailed inquiries about OMG's product and service capabilities, ensuring that potential clients understand the value we bring to their businesses. Your communication skills will be key as you connect with prospects via phone and email, utilizing tools like Outreach and Salesforce to manage your outreach effectively. As an SDR, you will actively work to meet or exceed established quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Responsibilities

  • Educate and qualify prospects, developing sales-ready leads and opportunities.
  • Research organizations' and prospects' roles to create a penetration strategy.
  • Handle detailed questions about OMG's product and service capabilities.
  • Connect with prospects by phone and email, using Outreach and Salesforce.
  • Engage in effective communication while building relationships with potential OMG users, including C-level executives, outside sales reps, and accounting teams.
  • Actively work to meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of sales experience if no degree.
  • 1+ years of sales, sales development, or other relevant experience with a strong track record preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a desire and ability to work in a goal-oriented high-growth sales environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence to prospect and develop new sales leads.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required; Visa Sponsorship not available.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce proficiency.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting.
  • Experience working with high-volume leads list.
  • Experience with Outreach.io or similar sales engagement tool.
  • Knowledge of the Team Sporting Goods or Promotional Products industries.
