About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Brink's plays a crucial role in the sales process by generating and qualifying leads to support the sales team in closing deals. This position is essential for ensuring a smooth sales pipeline and is focused on initiating outreach and setting appointments with potential clients. The SDR will be the first point of contact for prospects, making it a pivotal role in driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients (prospects) through various channels including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and prospect databases.
  • Use tools like LinkedIn, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and other prospecting software to find leads and enrich data.
  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to engage with prospects, introduce our company's solutions, and schedule appointments with Account Executives.
  • Follow up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns or website inquiries.
  • Qualify leads by identifying the potential for a sales opportunity, based on criteria such as budget, authority, need, and timing (BANT).
  • Use effective questioning techniques to understand client pain points and match the company's product offerings to their needs.
  • Schedule meetings between prospects and the Sales Team to discuss how the company's product or service can meet their needs.
  • Provide necessary information to the Account Executives to ensure smooth transitions for follow-up calls and sales presentations.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and interactions in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly outreach activities, meeting goals, and KPIs.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing.
  • Share insights and feedback from prospects with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and improve messaging.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong background in B2B sales, lead generation, and CRM management.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport and engage prospects.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve goals.
  • Resilience and ability to handle rejection.
  • A proactive and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is also considered.
