About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Gartner Digital Markets focuses on qualifying software buyers for vendor partners participating in the Pay-Per-Lead (PPL) program. The SDR will actively connect with potential software buyers, identify their needs, and set up appointments for the sales teams, contributing to the growth of the organization by facilitating connections between buyers and software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Actively connect with previously qualified and prospective software buyers via phone, SMS, email, and social media channels.
  • Identify decision makers at businesses and match them with monetizable PPL software markets.
  • Pre-qualify buyers to determine their needs and match them with the best internal GDM associate.
  • Achieve quarterly quotas and daily KPIs of a minimum of 120 calls per day.
  • Develop sales skills through active participation in ongoing sales training.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of relevant sales experience (B2B or Software Sales experience a plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Native level of English proficiency.
  • Proven track record of success in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships with potential clients.
  • Desire for continuous learning and ability to give/receive feedback.
  • Readiness for a professional environment and a desire to grow a career in sales.
  • BA/BS degree preferred (Sales Programs/Concentrations a plus).
