CGC Water Treatment and Plumbing is a Kinetico dealership that specializes in selling, installing, and servicing top-tier water treatment equipment. We are looking for a Sales Development Representative who is relational and engaging, with a strong interest in setting sales appointments with potential customers and promoting our services at various events. This role primarily serves the Greater Charlotte area and its surroundings, including Hickory, Statesville, Kannapolis, Gastonia, Rock Hill, Lancaster, Hendersonville, and Asheville. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting and generating leads to set appointments for in-home water tests conducted by our sales team. This will involve generating leads through various channels, including Home Depot store leads, networking with local Chamber of Commerce groups, and direct communication with potential customers. The representative will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing CGC's relationship with the community, thereby increasing brand awareness in new territories. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and comfortable with setting appointments for the sales team. The role includes a variety of tasks such as generating in-store leads at Home Depot, educating associates about Kinetico products, and attending trade shows and networking events to drive branding efforts in new areas.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads for in-home water tests.
  • Set appointments for the sales team based on generated leads.
  • Generate leads through Home Depot store interactions.
  • Educate Home Depot associates on Kinetico products.
  • Communicate with potential customers via phone to schedule appointments.
  • Attend trade shows and networking events to promote CGC Water Treatment and Plumbing.
  • Maintain and improve CGC's relationship with the community.
  • Drive brand awareness in new territories.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of sales principles.
  • Experience in setting appointments or prospecting is a plus.
  • Willingness to be trained and held accountable.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage changing priorities.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and customer service skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
