About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Parallel Staff is a contract position focused on driving sales in the IT sector. The SDR will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing prospects, and setting appointments for Account Executives. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish, and involves a hybrid work model with remote work and occasional in-person client visits.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential clients in target markets and industries.
  • Utilize email, phone calls, and social media to engage with prospects and introduce IT solutions.
  • Assess and qualify leads based on specific criteria to ensure alignment with the ideal customer profile.
  • Schedule meetings with qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handoff to Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in the CRM system, tracking metrics to measure success.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align messaging and campaigns, providing feedback on lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively communicate the company's value proposition.

Requirements

  • Bilingual - Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales or lead generation role, preferably in IT outsourcing services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
