About the position

The Sales Development Representative at Motorola Solutions plays a crucial role in building relationships and generating leads for the North American Government Sales organization. This position focuses on educating potential customers about the value of Motorola's safety products and driving interest in initial conversations. The role is essential in supporting the company's mission of 'Solving for Safer' by connecting public safety agencies and enterprises with innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Run call cadences (with support of an automated dialer) to educate future customers on the value of our solutions and drive interest in an initial conversation.
  • Ask smart, targeted questions to build rapport with prospects and identify opportunities.
  • Focus on targeted outbound list.
  • Collaborate with seasoned sales professionals within a territory to find, develop, and build key stakeholder interest, and crystalize the needs of the organization across multiple customer profiles and buyer groups.
  • Re-engage lapsed and long-term leads as new product features are introduced, focusing on bringing them back into the funnel.
  • Record prospect interactions and update records within our CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR 1+ years of sales/customer service experience.
  • Ability to articulate value propositions via phone, video, email, and other various social networking platforms.
  • Detail oriented, take exceptional meeting/activity notes, and effective in task and time management.
  • Highly motivated, passionate, and results driven.
  • Willing and able to contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
