PayZen is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a demonstrated track record of top performance, a passion for technology, and the drive to build an incredible sales career. Your primary responsibility will be to help turn prospects and leads into qualified opportunities by partnering with Marketing and Sales to create and execute on program and outbound campaigns. This position requires heavy outbound phone calling, email sending, social media research, consultative selling skills, and tight collaboration with the Account Executives to generate new opportunities. The SDR will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on PayZen's platform and the Healthcare Fintech industry in general. In this role, you will develop opportunities for the sales team from prospecting and marketing generated leads. You will quickly learn the PayZen product, effectively communicate the value proposition, and be able to react to objections and competitive questions. Researching accounts, identifying key players, generating interest, and developing accounts to stimulate opportunities will be crucial. You will also develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email and call scripts, and interact with prospects via telephone and email with a high attention to detail. Setting qualified discovery calls for the appropriate Account Executive and educating them as necessary about the opportunity will be part of your responsibilities. You will play a critical role in the growth of our organization by consistently achieving qualified opportunity quotas and tracking all relevant qualification and lead management activity using Salesforce.com.
