The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is crucial for driving new business opportunities and fostering growth within the company. The SDR will engage with potential clients, conduct research to identify key decision-makers, and collaborate with various teams to achieve strategic objectives. Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with potential clients through phone, email, and in-person outreach to generate new leads and business opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify and qualify key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Perform detailed consultations with clients to assess their moving needs and preferences.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development initiatives, focusing on high-value prospects.
  • Create detailed move plans, including timelines, inventory lists, and specific customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and other team members to strategize and execute targeted outreach efforts.
  • Provide clients with accurate estimates tailored to their specific needs.
  • Manage and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the entire process.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of target industries, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscapes.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with the moving industry and related regulations is an advantage.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is preferred, though not required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a proactive approach.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
