About the position

As an Inbound Sales Development Representative at Zoom, you will focus on generating sales pipeline through effective selling and influencing skills. Your role involves identifying qualified sales opportunities and scheduling appointments for Account Executives. A deep understanding of the Zoom platform and customer needs is essential, as you will utilize the MEDDPICC framework to assess customer situations and business drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Field & qualify Tier 1 inbound leads.
  • Nurture existing leads to generate qualified opportunities and drive revenue.
  • Connect customers with Account Executives and/or Product Specialists, setting up and attending customer meetings as required.
  • Absorb the sales development playbook, initiating communication with new and existing prospects within 10 days of your start date.
  • Leverage various channels including email, phone, Outreach, Zoominfo, LinkedIn, and Salesforce CRM for conducting qualification conversations and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Understand and align with ongoing sales priorities and targets.
  • Collaborate with team members, sharing best practices and feedback with your team, managers, and enablement.
  • Adhere to or exceed key KPIs, including Lead to Opp Conversion rates, meetings set, pipeline generated, MRR closed, average deal size (ADS), and speed to lead (SLAs).
  • Demonstrate a willingness to help and direct customers to appropriate resources outside of a sales conversation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Sales or Customer-Facing experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and sales acumen.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to meet performance goals, consistently delivering happiness to customers.
  • Passionate about personal and professional growth within the sales domain.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Effective time management skills, ability to work independently, and self-motivated.
  • Proactive, independent thinker with a high energy and positive attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
