About the position

The Sales Development Specialist role at SAP focuses on guiding and influencing customers during their digital transformation journey. This position is integral to building and nurturing a pipeline of sales opportunities, particularly in the SAP Customer Experience (CX) domain. The specialist will engage with potential customers to deliver superior experiences and support the acquisition of new customers while ensuring the successful adoption of SAP's products.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute Demand Generation campaigns against a target territory.
  • Execute specialized initiatives related to existing pipeline, such as recycling or nurturing leads.
  • Qualify and progress Marketing Inbound leads.
  • Document all campaign execution and lead management activities using sales automation tools.
  • Provide best-in-class digital experience and help the organization become digital experts.
  • Align with Sales colleagues for effective territory planning and execution.
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, phone campaigns, and email actions.
  • Pass qualified leads to Sales resources for opportunity management.
  • Regularly review lead pipeline and provide feedback to Marketing on campaigns.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience in Demand Generation or Inside Sales environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Fluency in English required; fluency in any other regional language preferred.
  • Experience in high volume customer-facing roles, particularly phone-centric work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP ERP systems.
  • Classroom experience in sales or customer engagement.
