About the position

The Sales Development Specialist at Essity is responsible for driving sales and building relationships with new customers across various sectors, including Industrial, Healthcare, Commercial, Foodservice, and Public Interest. This role offers autonomy and flexibility, allowing the specialist to work both digitally and in the field, while collaborating with a supportive team. The position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who are passionate about technology and making a positive impact on customers and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research using digital tools.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create strategies for attracting and closing new business.
  • Work from home and in the field, delivering persuasive pitches and solutions to customers.
  • Utilize MS Office, Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Seismic to provide real-time data and insights for customer engagements.
  • Work with inside sales, regional account managers, and virtual teams to win new business.
  • Receive ongoing training and support to grow your career in a flexible, hybrid role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing (relevant experience considered).
  • 0-2 years of work experience (sales experience is a plus but not required).
  • Self-motivated with a passion for technology and hybrid work environments.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in both team settings and independent work.
  • Interest in sustainability and making a real-world impact.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% for client meetings and networking opportunities.
