About the position

Amdocs is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to join Vubiquity, a subsidiary of Amdocs Media, located in Burbank, CA. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction through the development and execution of strategic sales plans aligned with company goals. The Sales Director will be responsible for exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets while developing various sales channels and building strategic business relationships with key stakeholders in the media industry. In this position, the Sales Director will work closely with the delivery team to ensure success throughout all stages of the customer life cycle, from initial engagement to post-sale support. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to drive results and achieve the company's objectives. This hybrid role allows for a flexible work environment, combining both remote and in-office work. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, demonstrating expertise in growth strategies, account development, commercial negotiations, and business planning. A strong understanding of the media supply chain and experience in selling both platforms and services are crucial. Existing relationships with CXOs at major studios, networks, and partners will be highly beneficial. The Sales Director will need to maintain a customer-focused approach, leveraging excellent communication skills to foster relationships and drive business success.

Requirements

  • Very good understanding of the media supply chain.
  • Experience selling both platforms and services.
  • Existing CXO relationships with major studios, networks, and partners.
  • A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
