About the position

The Sales Director at TransUnion will lead a team focused on data and analytic solutions within the financial services industry, particularly in fraud prevention. This role involves developing strategies to engage with clients, coaching team members, and collaborating with various internal teams to enhance market presence and drive sales. The position is remote but may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Industry Engagement approach as a critical component of the overall Account Engagement Plan (AEPs) to develop and expand business among financial services customers.
  • Coach and develop the team of individual sellers responsible for the sales pursuits supporting all stages of the sales opportunity lifecycle.
  • Partner with TransUnion Financial Services sales team, Fraud Solutions team, Product Marketing, Solutions Consulting, etc., to establish and execute on Go to Market strategies.
  • Collect, interpret and share market, customer and competitive intelligence concerning fraud trends and mitigation solutions.
  • Promote communication, team building, personal development, customer directed innovation and other traits to project and strengthen the culture of the company.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years leading teams of sellers focused on data and analytic solutions in a complex enterprise sales environment.
  • Demonstrated experience within and/or knowledge of the financial services industry with specific focus on Fraud vectors, processes, and solutions.
  • Experience in complex contract/legal negotiations.
  • Proven client engagement skills including prospecting, relationship-building, deal making, negotiating and closing business.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic company environment.
  • Detail oriented; dedicated to quality; customer-focused.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or the equivalent in experience.
