About the position

The Sales Director for Marketing Solutions at Azira will lead the sales strategy for marketing and location analytics solutions, focusing on client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across various vertical markets. This role emphasizes leveraging data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and enhance client engagement, while fostering a collaborative environment within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute a sales strategy for Azira's marketing and location analytics solutions to drive consistent revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and market research to identify sales opportunities, track performance, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Offer tailored marketing and location analytics solutions that address specific client challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the regional marketing ecosystem.
  • Engage with clients to understand their unique needs in marketing agencies and target verticals, positioning Azira's solutions to enhance site selection, customer targeting, campaign effectiveness, and market expansion efforts.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the marketing solutions landscape.
  • Act as a thought leader by staying informed on industry developments, advising clients, and influencing product direction.
  • Partner closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with company objectives and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Contribute insights to product development efforts based on client feedback, ensuring that Azira's offerings remain competitive and relevant.
  • Lead contract negotiations, establish pricing terms, and secure profitable deals with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years in sales roles focused on Marketing Solutions, data-driven sales, or location analytics, particularly within retail, restaurant, automotive, grocery, and real estate sectors.
  • 6-8 years as a digital planner at a media agency or as a digital media salesperson, demonstrating a proven track record in the full sales cycle.
  • Proven experience in B2B and channel sales, with a strong emphasis on solution selling, customized offerings, and strategic partnerships.
  • Proficient in interpreting marketing and location data to inform business decisions; experience with analytics tools (GIS, CRM systems) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experienced in selling and engaging with brands, platforms, and their end-users, with familiarity in programmatic advertising, location-based marketing, and data-powered media solutions.
