About the position

The position involves leading and managing a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth for the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members to achieve their sales targets. This role requires a proactive approach to recruiting, staffing, and training new sales personnel to ensure the team is well-equipped to meet the demands of the market. The individual will formulate and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans, aligning team efforts with organizational goals. In addition to team management, the role includes assisting the sales team with client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities. The candidate will inspire and lead a dynamic sales team in a fast-paced environment, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance their sales and personal development. Regular forecasting reviews and quarterly progress sessions will be conducted with each representative to monitor performance and ensure alignment with established goals. The position also involves managing the productivity and quality of the sales funnel, implementing ongoing process improvements, and making recommendations for systems that enhance team efficiency. The candidate will assist in managing various programs and campaigns aimed at achieving target goals for both the team and individual representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching, mentoring, and motivating a high producing sales team to generate revenue opportunities.
  • Assisting in the recruiting, staffing, and training to grow and maintain a sales team.
  • Formulating and executing monthly and quarterly sales plans.
  • Assisting the sales team with client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Inspiring, leading, and coaching a dynamic and fast-paced sales team.
  • Providing feedback to the sales team in the areas of sales/personal development, direction, and focus.
  • Conducting weekly forecast reviews and quarterly progress review sessions with each representative.
  • Managing productivity, funnel of opportunities, and quality to ensure teams meet established goals and standards.
  • Implementing ongoing process improvements and recommendations to enhance team efficiency.
  • Assisting in managing programs and campaigns to achieve target goals for the team and individual representatives.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of software sales experience with a successful track record of winning new business.
  • 1-2 years of successful sales management/leadership experience.
  • Experience driving performance management and enabling the success of individual contributors.
  • Demonstrated success in forecasting, territory account mapping, research and planning, and running discovery meetings.
  • Resilient, positive, energetic, driven, results-oriented, confident, and coachable with an eagerness to help people succeed.
