About the position

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sales Director to join our dynamic team. This remote position is pivotal in driving our sales strategy and achieving business objectives. The Sales Director will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive sales plans that align with our organizational goals. This role requires a strategic thinker who can utilize available data to accurately forecast sales and set performance goals that are both ambitious and achievable. The successful candidate will develop strong partnerships with brokers and consultants, ensuring that we maintain robust relationships with key clients. In this role, the Sales Director will provide executive leadership and direction for all sales activities, representing the company in meetings with key customers and prospective clients. The individual will lead the management of prospect data, pipeline, and forecasts, ensuring that sales objectives and targets are met at profitable rates. The Sales Director will also be responsible for mentoring sales colleagues and collaborating with cross-departmental teams to enhance overall performance. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively. The Sales Director must respond promptly to client needs, solicit feedback for service improvement, and handle difficult client situations with professionalism. This role is crucial in ensuring that MedImpact continues to deliver superior outcomes through innovative products and services that enhance the value of healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement sales plans that successfully achieve business objectives
  • Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals
  • Develop mutually beneficial partnerships with brokers and consultants
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients
  • Provide executive leadership and overall direction of sales activities
  • Represent the company in meetings with key customers, brokers, and prospective customers
  • Lead timely, accurate, and robust prospect, pipeline, and forecast data
  • Meet sales objectives and targets at profitable rates
  • Move prospects into implementation
  • Meet established sales goals and quota schedule per plan year's objectives and multi-year growth targets
  • Handle sophisticated sales cycles from start to finish with a history of successful revenue attainment
  • Mentor and learn from sales colleagues and cross-departmental team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relative work experience
  • 5 years' experience in employee benefit sales or equivalent disciplines
  • Previous experience in a sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work successfully without ongoing supervision
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, Outlook)
  • Life and Health license required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
