About the position

The Sales Director at ShipperHQ is a pivotal role that combines leadership and hands-on sales management. This position is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a sales pipeline, and fostering strong client relationships to drive revenue growth. The Sales Director will also lead a high-performing sales team, collaborate cross-functionally, and represent the company at industry events, all while promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and guide a high-performing sales team, setting a standard of excellence and accountability.
  • Own and manage your pipeline, building strong client relationships and driving individual sales growth.
  • Design and execute sales strategies that align with our ambitious revenue goals, continuously adapting to market needs.
  • Develop and deepen relationships with key clients and partners to fuel revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations to drive unified growth efforts.
  • Leverage sales forecasting, pipeline management, and analytics to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
  • Implement sales processes, tools, and metrics to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Attract, mentor, and retain top sales talent, creating a high-performing, growth-focused culture.
  • Represent ShipperHQ at industry events and conferences, enhancing our brand's visibility and reputation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 4+ years in sales leadership with proven team-building and scaling experience
  • 3+ years of experience in HubSpot, with a strong technical understanding
  • Background in bootstrapped companies, SaaS, and eCommerce, especially high-volume sales (SMB and Enterprise) preferred
  • Inspirational leader with strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for market trends
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Skilled in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and data analytics
