National Insurance Housing is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead the insurance housing business development sales program. This role is pivotal in driving profitability and requires a strong background in management and sales. The Sales Director will be responsible for operating the sales program effectively, ensuring alignment with National's mission statement, strategic vision, and core values. The individual will provide disciplined, ethical, and focused leadership to the sales team, fostering an environment that promotes success and accountability. In this player/coach role, the Sales Director will not only lead the team but also actively engage in bringing in new accounts. This includes attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent for the sales team, as well as onboarding and coaching new hires. The Director will establish a comprehensive New Hire Program and ensure ongoing education for seasoned team members. Performance management is a key aspect of this role, as the Director will guide the business development team in setting and achieving annual and quarterly goals, collaborating closely with the Finance team to align these goals with the company budget. The Sales Director will drive customer acquisition, client retention, and growth while identifying opportunities for industry expansion. Collaboration with the COO/President is essential to execute a sales strategy that meets and exceeds budgeted revenue and gross profit goals. The Director will also participate directly in closing business deals with insurance carriers and create training materials to support team success. Regular observation and participation in sales opportunities will be necessary to ensure team growth and success, alongside managing day-to-day sales team operations and conducting performance reviews. Additionally, the Sales Director will maintain a high profile within the industry to identify new opportunities and enhance brand awareness. A consistent sales process will be executed to ensure accurate sales forecasting and analysis, and collaboration with the marketing team will be crucial to maintain constant brand visibility. The role may also involve managing other projects to further develop knowledge of the insurance housing business and gain valuable experience.
