About the position

The Sales Director at Ruthmann Reachmaster will be responsible for driving sales growth. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage customer relationships, and ensure smooth, efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will lead the sales team to achieve targets and will manage budgeting and financial planning, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This position is critical in aligning sales objectives with organizational efficiency to support the company's long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Implement effective sales strategies to meet business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Presenting our products (especially BLUELIFT) to our customers including at trade shows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Set sales targets and KPIs, monitor and report performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Manage the budgeting, financial planning, and reporting process.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure cross-functional collaboration and support overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of aerial work platforms.
  • Experience with national equipment rental companies.
  • Experience in sales and administrative management, with a track record of driving sales success.
  • US GAAP knowledge.
  • Experience with social media marketing.
  • Deep understanding of sales performance metrics and data analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performance team.
  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability up to 50% US travel.
