Element Fleet Management is seeking a dynamic Sales Director to join our team, where employees make a significant difference in the lives of others every day. This role is crucial as it involves driving revenue and setting the course for the growth of the business by managing an assigned set of clients and prospects. The Sales Director will be responsible for securing new business and strategically developing future clients, utilizing a consultative sales approach to address fleet management challenges. In this position, you will generate new deal leads and prospects through cold calling, actively manage your assigned database to ensure all accounts are properly scoped and classified, and develop and cultivate strategic relationships with both prospects and clients. You will also be tasked with developing and implementing a sales strategy and tactical plan to maximize deal flow, partnering with cross-functional teams to facilitate the execution of deals. Additionally, you will perform modeling and forecasting, conduct financial statement and cash flow analysis to determine deal feasibility and structure, and price loans and leases using a pricing model to prepare client proposals. This role requires a true sales hunter mentality, with a focus on new business development. Responsibilities

  • Generate new deal leads and prospects via cold calling
  • Actively manage assigned database ensuring all accounts are properly scoped and classified
  • Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with prospects and clients
  • Develop and implement sales strategy and tactical plan for maximizing deal flow
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in order to facilitate the execution of deals
  • Perform modeling/forecasting, financial statement and cash flow analysis in order to determine deal feasibility and structure
  • Price loans and leases and services using pricing model and prepare client proposals

Requirements

  • BS or BA in business or related field required
  • 5-7 years in complex B2B sales environment, preferably selling complex financial concepts/products or other intangible products/services
  • Experience selling in C-suite settings and influencing C-suite decision-makers strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated sales discipline and record of sales success
  • Experience leading the successful acquisition of new business through a structured process
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time within assigned (home) territory
  • Critical thinking - can offer creative solutions to meet client and prospect needs
  • Proven ability to effectively interact at all levels of an organization

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience in a financial services, customer-facing commercial sales position
  • Drive results by successfully presenting to clients and senior management
