About the position

The Sales & Education Advisor at ILIA Beauty is a freelance role focused on driving sales and enhancing the in-store experience for clients. This position requires a passionate beauty advisor who can effectively communicate the brand's unique offerings and educate store teams on product knowledge. The advisor will be responsible for achieving sales goals through strategic store visits, training, and relationship building within the Salt Lake City metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Drive and exceed sales goals through store visits, events, and relationship building.
• Coordinate store visit schedule with manager and strategize plans to achieve sales goals.
• Create a monthly calendar to support focus doors and achieve sales goals.
• Deliver effective training to store teams on hero products to enhance their selling capabilities.
• Develop brand advocates in stores by training on key selling and service behaviors.
• Track and monitor event sales impact and initiate innovative ways to drive retail results.
• Activate store visit calendar and recap store successes and opportunities post-visit.
• Communicate regularly with manager and store leadership regarding brand opportunities and stock concerns.

Requirements

• Must have reliable form of transportation.
• 2+ years of beauty industry experience as a professional make-up artist or brand ambassador.
• Currently live in the territory listed in the job posting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Exceptional time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work on your feet for 6-8 hours.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ years Sephora training and selling experience with established relationships.
• Passion in the Clean Beauty Category.
