About the position

The Sales Enablement Manager will be responsible for equipping our sales team with the tools, resources, and training they need to effectively sell our products and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of sales processes. The Sales Enablement Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and to drive sales effectiveness. This position is crucial in enhancing the overall performance of the sales team by providing them with the necessary support and resources to succeed in a competitive market. In this role, the Sales Enablement Manager will design, develop, and deliver effective sales training programs that focus on target vertical markets, product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and competitive differentiation. The manager will act as a liaison between Product Management and Marketing teams, driving the development of sales collateral for target audiences, including presentations, brochures, product sheets, and competitive analyses. Ensuring that all materials are current and easily accessible to the sales team is a key responsibility. The Sales Enablement Manager will also evaluate and assist with the implementation of sales enablement tools and technologies, ensuring that the sales team is proficient in using CRM, sales analytics, and other relevant tools. Ongoing support to the sales team will include assistance with proposals, presentations, and customer interactions. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics is essential for providing insights and recommendations to the sales team. Additionally, the manager will develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives, using data to make informed decisions and improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver effective sales training programs.
  • Act as a liaison between Product Management and Marketing teams to drive the development of sales collateral.
  • Ensure that all sales materials are current and easily accessible to the sales team.
  • Work closely with marketing to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with product teams to keep the sales team informed about new products and updates.
  • Evaluate and assist with the implementation of sales enablement tools and technologies.
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales team, including assistance with proposals and presentations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial equipment company, preferably within the compressed air industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver effective training programs.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
