About the position

The Junior Sales Enablement Manager (Commercial Learning) at American Express Global Business Travel is a pivotal role within the Global Sales Enablement team. This position focuses on creating and coordinating training programs and resources to support the onboarding of new employees in the commercial teams. The role emphasizes collaboration, content creation, and the application of learning technologies to enhance team effectiveness and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Create, coordinate, and schedule an onboarding program for new employees.
  • Help develop and execute onboarding content for new hires within the commercial teams, ensuring a quick ramp-up to full productivity.
  • Help design and deliver tailored learning and development programs for commercial teams, including sales and client management, that align with business objectives and drive performance improvement.
  • Support Sales Training including product training, sales methodologies, objection handling, negotiation techniques, and communication skills, to ensure the team is equipped for success.
  • Help develop and curate engaging training content, including presentations, job aids, learning guides, and interactive e-learning tools, to ensure that training is accessible and impactful.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product Marketing) to ensure training programs are aligned with overall business strategy.

Requirements

  • Strong background in learning and development or sales enablement.
  • Understanding of learning technologies and adult learning principles.
  • Experience in learning and development within a SAAS or travel company is strongly preferred.
