About the position

The Sales Enablement Manager for Sales Development at MongoDB is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) through comprehensive training and enablement programs. This role focuses on onboarding new SDRs, developing targeted training sessions, and optimizing workflows to drive pipeline generation and revenue growth. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure messaging effectiveness and to foster a culture of excellence in outbound sales efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the SDR onboarding program, including curriculum development and training sessions.
  • Develop and deliver focused enablement programs for the global SDR team.
  • Facilitate and lead regular virtual or in-person bootcamp sessions for onboarding and development.
  • Provide 1:1 coaching to team members and contribute to team thought leadership.
  • Identify friction points within SDR workflows and resolve them with GTM operations.
  • Align with GTM leadership and Marketing on messaging effectiveness and performance.
  • Optimize and train the field on relevant technology stacks like SalesLoft and Salesforce.
  • Monitor SDR performance and data trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive alignment between SDRs and AEs on named accounts for pipeline generation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales or a sales quota-carrying role.
  • Experience with Value-based Sales Methodologies and/or qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC, Force Management).
  • Knowledge of business and technology-related challenges, including email security and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and participate in varied projects.
  • Proven ability to build consensus and lead in a virtual/remote team environment.
  • Exceptional business problem-solving aptitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation communication skills.
  • Data-driven approach with a focus on optimizing activities and outputs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with local legislation pertaining to B2B messaging and delivery (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
  • Experience managing inbound, outbound, and hybrid SDR teams.
  • 2+ years in an enablement or coaching role.
  • Experience scaling teams globally at high-growth companies.
