About the position

The Sales Enablement Manager will support the North America Corporate go-to-market sales teams by creating and implementing a comprehensive sales enablement and training program. This role focuses on enhancing the capabilities of the Payer and Vendor sales teams and the Account Management team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. The manager will collaborate with various departments to develop a curriculum that includes onboarding, product training, and value-based selling methodologies, ultimately driving go-to-market success and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Create a sales enablement and training program for Payer and Vendor sales teams and Account Management team.
  • Understand Bottomline's Paymode business to provide world-class sales training.
  • Partner with sales, product, customer, and HR organizations to develop a comprehensive sales enablement curriculum.
  • Drive go-to-market success by executing the sales strategy for the Premium and Card vendor sales teams.
  • Manage the annual sales plan and operations in collaboration with vendor sales leaders.
  • Implement and manage sales KPIs and deliver analysis through reports and dashboards.
  • Design and deliver a new hire training program in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Establish a sales leadership coaching program and playbook for effective management.
  • Lead the value-based messaging initiative across the organization.
  • Manage a small team responsible for the learning management system (LMS) and new hire training.

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven ability to influence sales personnel and management behavior.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Structured, process-based approach to program design and implementation.
  • Experience in performance management and coaching others.
  • Understanding of adult learning theory and training delivery methods.
  • Ability to align and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence across all organizational levels.
  • Track record of success in leading sales teams or training programs.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, sales enablement, or training roles, preferably in a global technology company.

  • Experience creating and delivering a new hire onboarding program.
