About the position

The Sales Enablement Manager at Hitachi Energy will enhance sales support by creating high-quality sales enablement materials and ensuring proposal content is clear and value-driven. This role aims to foster a sales culture that celebrates success and works closely with the Enterprise Software Sales Operations team to address challenges in asset-intensive industries such as energy and utilities.

Responsibilities

  • Content development and coordination for sales enablement materials.
  • Translate product writeups from Product Management into customer-centric messaging.
  • Create proposal response material that articulates value for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Develop materials to support Partner Channel engagements with clear messaging.
  • Provide training or supportive content for Business Development Rep projects or lead campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on go-to-market and sales readiness efforts.
  • Identify potential customer references or leads for whitepapers through collaboration with the sales team.
  • Drive a culture that celebrates sales successes by highlighting wins and best practices.
  • Optimize the quality of sales development training material.
  • Assist with onboarding new sales representatives globally.
  • Coordinate and host recurring sales trainings with product and presales experts.
  • Project manage various sales operations initiatives as requested.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience with Sales/Product Enablement.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Instructional Design experience preferred.
  • Sales experience with a solid understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, communication, and writing skills.
  • Proven experience in creating content for training and sales purposes.
  • Skilled in developing content in various formats, including PowerPoint and recorded video.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in asset-intensive industries such as energy, utilities, transportation, oil and gas, and mining.
