In this role, the Sales Enablement Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective sales training programs that focus on target vertical markets, product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and competitive differentiation. The manager will act as a liaison between Product Management and Marketing teams, driving the development of sales collateral tailored for target audiences, including presentations, brochures, product sheets, and competitive analyses. Ensuring that all materials are current and easily accessible to the sales team is a critical aspect of this responsibility. Additionally, the Sales Enablement Manager will evaluate and assist with the implementation of sales enablement tools and technologies, ensuring that the sales team is proficient in using CRM systems, sales analytics, and other relevant tools. Ongoing support to the sales team will also be provided, including assistance with proposals, presentations, and customer interactions. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics is essential, as this information will be used to provide insights and recommendations to the sales team. The role also involves developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives, using data to make informed decisions and improvements. Overall, the Sales Enablement Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the sales team's capabilities and driving the success of Hitachi Global Air Power's sales efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver effective sales training programs focusing on target vertical markets, product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and competitive differentiation.
  • Act as a liaison between Product Management and Marketing teams to drive the development of sales collateral for target audiences, including presentations, brochures, product sheets, and competitive analyses.
  • Work closely with marketing to align messaging and campaigns, and collaborate with product teams to ensure the sales team is informed about new products and updates.
  • Evaluate and assist with the implementation of sales enablement tools and technologies, ensuring the sales team is proficient in using CRM, sales analytics, and other relevant tools.
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales team, including assistance with proposals, presentations, and customer interactions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, using this information to provide insights and recommendations to the sales team.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives and use data to make informed decisions and improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial equipment company, preferably within the compressed air industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver effective training programs.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to coach and lead employees.
  • Adaptable and resourceful with a bias towards action.
