About the position

The Sales Enablement Manager at Hitachi Global Air Power is a pivotal role designed to equip the sales team with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively sell the company's products and services. This position requires a strategic thinker who possesses excellent communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of sales processes. The Sales Enablement Manager will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and enhance sales effectiveness. This role is open to remote or hybrid work arrangements and reports directly to the Sr. Director of Commercial Operations. In this role, the Sales Enablement Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective sales training programs that focus on target vertical markets, product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and competitive differentiation. The manager will act as a liaison between Product Management and Marketing teams, driving the development of sales collateral tailored for target audiences, including presentations, brochures, product sheets, and competitive analyses. Ensuring that all materials are current and easily accessible to the sales team is a critical aspect of this responsibility. Additionally, the Sales Enablement Manager will evaluate and assist with the implementation of sales enablement tools and technologies, ensuring that the sales team is proficient in using CRM systems, sales analytics, and other relevant tools. Ongoing support to the sales team will include assistance with proposals, presentations, and customer interactions. The manager will also stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, using this information to provide insights and recommendations to the sales team. Performance metrics will be developed and tracked to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives, utilizing data to make informed decisions and improvements. This role is essential in driving the success of the sales team and ensuring that they are well-equipped to meet the challenges of the market.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver effective sales training programs.
  • Act as a liaison between Product Management and Marketing teams to drive the development of sales collateral.
  • Ensure that all sales materials are current and easily accessible to the sales team.
  • Work closely with marketing to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with product teams to keep the sales team informed about new products and updates.
  • Evaluate and assist with the implementation of sales enablement tools and technologies.
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales team, including assistance with proposals and presentations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial equipment company.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver effective training programs.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
