About the position

The Sales Enablement Manager at Empyrean Benefit Solutions is a pivotal role within the Growth Team, responsible for enhancing the performance of client-facing teams through effective training and resource management. This position focuses on simplifying training needs in a complex market, ensuring that sales teams are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to maximize productivity and sales. The role involves collaboration with various departments to align sales initiatives and improve overall sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Create effective onboarding processes for new sales representatives.
  • Oversee all sales training programs and educational content for sales teams.
  • Focus on skill development, product knowledge, product packaging, and sales processes.
  • Maintain the Empyrean Way to Win and ensure proper KPIs are measured.
  • Partner with Learning and Development Team to deploy training programs.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to manage sales enablement content.
  • Manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • Work with Sales Leadership to enhance sales effectiveness using data and analytics.
  • Identify training needs and build programs for improvement.
  • Foster alignment across sales and marketing to optimize tools and content.
  • Develop and manage performance analysis to calculate ROI of enablement processes.
  • Track and analyze training and content usage, and evaluate sales initiatives.
  • Own the annual sales kick-off and ensure readiness of topics and training.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of Sales Enablement experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in employee benefits and/or benefit administration selling or training.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales enablement technology and best practices.
  • Deep understanding of sales process methodologies and the buyer's journey.
  • Knowledge of sales training best practices and adult learning theory.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience in collaborating with senior management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with sales enablement platforms like Highspot and CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt to market changes.
  • Strong conflict-resolution skills across diverse personalities.
