About the position

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Sales Enablement Manager for its Atlanta, GA location. The primary function of this role is to enhance our sales support through various means. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality sales enablement materials that effectively communicate technical topics in a compelling manner for sales teams and their prospects. This role also involves ensuring that proposal content is clear and articulates our value proposition in a manner that aligns with our brand identity. Furthermore, the Sales Enablement Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a sales culture that celebrates success by highlighting wins and achievements within the team. As part of the Hitachi Energy Enterprise Software Sales Operations team, the Sales Enablement Manager will support companies in asset-intensive industries such as energy, utilities, transportation, oil and gas, and mining. These sectors face unique challenges that must be addressed to enhance operational performance, reliability, and profitability. The ESS Sales Operations team operates on a global scale, providing support to enterprise software sales executives worldwide. Key responsibilities include content development and coordination, translating product write-ups from Product Management into customer-centric sales enablement materials that consider buyer personas and target industries. The role also involves creating proposal response materials with value-driven messaging that resonates with both technical and business stakeholders. Additionally, the Sales Enablement Manager will develop materials to support Partner Channel engagements, provide training or supportive content for Business Development Representative projects or lead campaigns, and collaborate with Product Marketing on go-to-market (GTM) and sales readiness efforts as product enhancements or launches approach. The role requires identifying potential customer references or leads for whitepapers through direct collaboration with the sales team and assisting Product Marketing with the coordination and development of customer-facing materials. The Sales Enablement Manager will also drive a culture that celebrates sales successes by highlighting internal sales wins and best practices, optimizing the quality of sales development training materials, assisting with the onboarding of new sales representatives globally, and project managing various sales operations initiatives as requested, including process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality sales enablement materials that effectively communicate technical topics.

  • Coordinate and host recurring sales trainings leveraging product and presales experts to enhance the sales team's ability to identify opportunities and scope solutions accurately.
  • Project manage various sales operations initiatives as requested, including process improvement.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in Sales Enablement or Product Marketing.
  • Strong writing skills and experience in a content-heavy role.
  • Understanding of relevant market trends, technical products, and solutions.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously with a track record of project completion.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
