About the position

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Sales Enablement Manager for its Atlanta, GA location. This role is pivotal in enhancing our sales support through the creation of high-quality sales enablement materials. The ideal candidate will possess industry-related experience and the ability to translate complex technical topics into compelling messaging that resonates with sales teams and their prospects. A key responsibility will be ensuring that our proposal content is clear, concise, and effectively articulates our value proposition in a manner that aligns with our brand identity. In addition to content creation, the Sales Enablement Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a sales culture that celebrates success by highlighting wins and best practices. This position is part of the Hitachi Energy Enterprise Software Sales Operations team, which supports companies in asset-intensive industries such as energy, utilities, transportation, oil and gas, and mining. These sectors face unique challenges that require innovative solutions to enhance operational performance, reliability, and profitability. The ESS Sales Operations team operates on a global scale, providing support to enterprise software sales executives worldwide. The responsibilities of this role include developing and coordinating customer-centric sales enablement materials that consider buyer personas and target industries, creating proposal response materials with value-driven messaging for both technical and business stakeholders, and supporting partner channel engagements with clear and differentiated messaging. The Sales Enablement Manager will also collaborate with Product Marketing on go-to-market strategies and sales readiness efforts, particularly as product enhancements or launches approach. Identifying potential customer references and assisting in the development of whitepapers or similar materials will be essential, as will driving a culture that celebrates sales successes by highlighting internal wins. Furthermore, the role involves optimizing the quality of sales development training materials, assisting with the onboarding of new sales representatives globally, and project managing various sales operations initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate customer-centric sales enablement materials considering buyer personas and target industries.
  • Create proposal response materials with value-driven messaging for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Support partner channel engagements with clear and differentiated messaging.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on go-to-market strategies and sales readiness efforts.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in Sales Enablement or Product Marketing.
  • Strong writing skills and experience in a content-heavy role.
  • Understanding of relevant market trends, technical products, and solutions.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously with a track record of project completion.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
