About the position

The Sales Enablement Manager is a pivotal role within the Growth Team at Empyrean Benefit Solutions, responsible for enhancing the performance of client-facing teams through effective training and resource allocation. This position focuses on simplifying training needs in a rapidly evolving market, ensuring that sales teams are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to maximize productivity and sales. The role involves collaboration with various departments, overseeing training programs, and analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Create effective onboarding processes for new sales representatives.
  • Oversee all sales training programs and educational content for sales teams.
  • Focus on skill development, product knowledge, product packaging, and sales processes.
  • Maintain the Empyrean Way to Win and ensure proper KPIs are measured.
  • Partner with Learning and Development Team to deploy trainings, including online and instructor-led courses.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement content management systems in collaboration with Product Marketing.
  • Manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to enhance sales effectiveness using data and analytics.
  • Identify training needs and build programs to ensure success.
  • Foster alignment across sales and marketing to optimize tools and content accessibility.
  • Develop and manage performance analysis to calculate ROI of enablement processes.
  • Track and analyze training and content usage, and evaluate sales initiatives effectiveness.
  • Own the annual sales kick-off, ensuring relevant topics and training are ready.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of minimum Sales Enablement Experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in Employee Benefits and/or Benefit Administration selling or training.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills to support sales functions.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales enablement technology and best practices.
  • Deep understanding of sales process methodologies and the buyer's journey.
  • Knowledge of sales training best practices and adult learning theory.
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience in engaging senior management and diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, including multitasking and prioritizing tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with sales enablement platforms like Highspot and CRM systems like Sales Force.
  • Familiarity with developmental sales coaching techniques.
