About the position

The Sales Enablement Manager at Hitachi Global Air Power is responsible for equipping the sales team with essential tools, resources, and training to enhance their effectiveness in selling products and services. This strategic role requires strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of sales processes, collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive sales effectiveness and alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver effective sales training programs focusing on target vertical markets, product knowledge, and sales effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between Product Management and Marketing teams to drive the development of sales collateral, ensuring materials are current and accessible.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and campaigns, and work with product teams to keep the sales team informed about new products and updates.
  • Evaluate and assist with the implementation of sales enablement tools and technologies, ensuring proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales team, including assistance with proposals, presentations, and customer interactions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations to the sales team.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial equipment company, preferably in the compressed air industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver effective training programs.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
