About the position

The Sales Enablement Manager at Cisco Systems is responsible for developing and implementing innovative learning solutions that enhance sales expertise across the organization. This role involves collaboration with various teams to align training initiatives with business outcomes, ensuring that sales personnel are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. The position emphasizes the importance of instructional design and adult learning principles to create a robust sales curriculum that reflects the company's Go to Market strategy and customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with regional strategy and planning teams to align career pathing opportunities with business outcomes and metrics.
  • Collaborate with regional and global training and enablement teams to ensure alignment across career pathing and progression initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive sales curriculum.
  • Ensure training content is relevant and actionable, reflecting knowledge of the Go to Market strategy and collaborative selling.
  • Apply adult learning and instructional design principles to foster communities of learners and encourage professional growth.
  • Deliver learning projects to the highest standards and report on regional content adoption.
  • Define test criteria and expectations for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve critical issues.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of learning and development experience or field sales experience.
  • Experience working with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms and readiness solutions.
  • Proficiency in database programs and software such as MS Excel, Outlook, MindTickle, Degreed, and Salesforce.
  • Ability to plan and implement multiple projects independently.
