About the position

The Sales Enablement Project Manager Intern position at Staples is designed for students seeking to gain practical experience in project management within a corporate environment. This hybrid internship will allow interns to work closely with senior project managers, assisting in various project management tasks while developing essential skills in a collaborative and inclusive setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior project managers in overseeing schedules and milestone management.
  • Obtain weekly project status from all team members.
  • Learn and use project management software.
  • Prepare and assist in project documentation.
  • Document resource needs and availability.
  • Organize and schedule team meetings.
  • Identify project scope, risks, constraints, dependencies, assumptions, and deadlines.
  • Provide consistent updates on the project to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and help in adjustments.
  • Measure the project performance to suggest areas of improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be a rising senior, pursuing a bachelor's degree, a full-time student carrying a minimum of 12 college credits.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong Excel skills: ability to use a pivot table.
