About the position

The Sales Enablement Project Manager Intern position at Staples is designed for students and recent graduates to gain practical experience in project management within a business-to-business environment. This hybrid internship will involve assisting senior project managers with various tasks related to project oversight, documentation, and stakeholder communication, while fostering skills in collaboration, customer focus, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior project managers in overseeing schedules and milestone management.
  • Obtain weekly project status from all team members.
  • Learn and use project management software.
  • Prepare and assist in project documentation.
  • Document resource needs and availability.
  • Organize and schedule team meetings.
  • Identify project scope, risks, constraints, dependencies, assumptions, and deadlines.
  • Provide consistent updates on the project to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and help in adjustments.
  • Measure the project performance to suggest areas of improvement.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, enrolled as a full-time student carrying a minimum of 12 college credits.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong Excel skills: ability to use a pivot table.
