About the position

The position supports both the Raymarine and FLIR Maritime businesses at Teledyne Technologies, focusing on sales and operations management for customer accounts. The role aims to enhance customer satisfaction and retention through data analysis, process optimization, and personalized interactions, while also facilitating order management and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates order entry through ERP and web-based systems, validating against customer purchase orders.
• Communicates regularly with customers, production facilities, technical personnel, and marketing on various issues.
• Follows the production of orders to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Manages inventories and shipments to meet customer supply requirements.
• Collaborates with the Account Manager to maintain customer relationships and gather market information for forecasting.
• Performs root cause analysis for inventory variance and addresses exception issues with corrective actions.
• Participates in projects focused on efficiency improvements.
• Investigates and follows up on new sales opportunities from web and phone leads.
• Provides an outstanding service experience for customers.

Requirements

• Business / Technical Degree or hands-on experience.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and organization skills.
• Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation, with proficiency in data analytics tools.
• Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to adapt to and master web-based support applications.
• Background in Maritime products preferred.
• Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the maritime industry.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
