Responsibilities
- Assist Barnhart Sales Team in creating innovative heavy-lift/heavy-transport solutions.
- Ensure technical accuracy and risk assessment during solution development.
- Optimize methods to increase job efficiency, reduce project costs, and minimize risk exposure.
- Select innovative Barnhart equipment to enhance competitive advantage.
- Conduct Next Best Alternative (NBA) analysis for pricing strategy.
- Perform jobsite walkdowns with Barnhart Sales lead to gather information for solution development.
- Provide project engineering support to awarded work, including design parameter creation and equipment layout drawings.
- Maintain regular communication with project, field, and customer teams.
- Develop understanding of the heavy rigging and transportation industry, including equipment knowledge and competitor analysis.
- Familiarize with skills and qualifications of Branch Personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering discipline from ABET accredited institution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, etc).
- Exposure to AutoDesk Suite - AutoCad, Inventor, Navisworks.
- Experience with MathCad and RISA 3D.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Cisco Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience in team leadership capacity.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine corrective actions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $60-70K/year
