About the position

The position involves providing subject matter expertise in the design and implementation of complex data network and voice solutions for business-class customers. The role requires collaboration with the sales team to market and sell the company's product lines, offering insights on current network solutions and assisting in technical design for new sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support and problem resolution for field service questions.
• Support the sales team with product modifications and engineering expertise for custom projects.
• Perform needs analyses for the company and its customers, producing strategic, cost-effective solutions.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Business Class products.
• Design solutions that meet customer business applications, ensuring protected circuit design and disaster recovery situations.
• Translate complex technical design requirements into understandable information for customers.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with sales teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales engineering and product positioning.
• Knowledge of Ethernet and business sales.
