About the position

The Sales Engineer at LG Electronics will play a crucial role in supporting the B2B Solutions Technical Sales Team by addressing technical inquiries, assessing customer needs, and resolving pre- and post-sales technical product issues. This home office-based position requires a motivated individual to contribute to the technical sales efforts of various Information Display products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Support assigned sales representatives by attending sales meetings and addressing technical inquiries.
  • Assess customer pain-points and convey solution requirements.
  • Resolve pre- and post-sales technical product issues.
  • Contribute to technical sales efforts for Information Display products including DVLED, LCD, OLED, and collaborative displays.
  • Review project designs with stakeholders and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and conduct technical training for customers and internal teams.
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in product demonstrations and pre-sales meetings.
  • Document and convey Voice of Customer (VOC) for technical product-related topics.
  • Assist in project implementation and other professional services as needed.
  • Advocate customer needs to US and HQ Product Management teams.
  • Provide quality technical support to establish long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, preferably with a System Integrator.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product and solution sales, preferably in the Audiovisual industry.
  • Strong understanding of Content Management Solutions (CMS).
  • Strong understanding of project specifications, system drawings, and floor drawings.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Applications (Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM (Salesforce).
  • Exemplary interpersonal, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, stressful environments while exercising sound judgment.
  • Ability to travel 75% throughout the U.S. (occasionally international).

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Technology Specialist-CTS certification.
  • Knowledge of CAD and/or Revit software.
  • SalesForce experience.
  • Industry relationships with integrators, end users, and solution providers.
  • System Integration experience.
