The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing new business in the assigned territory. They will work very closely with operations, marketing, and sales leadership to help implement a tactical marketing plan that would increase revenues and profits. The regional sales will collaborate with leadership to identify and pursue target strategic markets and clients and works to access markets in the assigned territory space of Qualus. In this role, the Sales Engineer will work with leadership to identify and pursue target strategic markets and clients, ensuring that the company’s product and service offerings penetrate these markets effectively. Establishing and maintaining productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects is crucial, as is supporting sales function initiatives by providing client relationship support and assisting with sales calls to help drive business. The Sales Engineer will also be responsible for developing and executing lead generation strategies, collaborating with the team to identify opportunities, and planning and executing growth strategies. Additionally, the Sales Engineer will oversee the negotiation of contracts in collaboration with operations and legal teams, perform market research and analysis, and evaluate operational issues to determine how competitive and current the organization is with the latest trends in the industry. Supporting and managing the proposal process to ensure successful completion and submission to the client is also a key responsibility. The role requires monitoring both the external and internal environment to support the development of new market segments and assisting in the development of marketing campaigns for new products and services. Finally, the Sales Engineer will help develop an evaluation process to gain feedback from clients, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with client needs.
